I love writing in the first person. I know that I'm not supposed to do that in an About Me, but this is my site so I'm going to do it.

I have worn virtually every hat while working at local churches. I have also quit, multiple times, churches so that I can work in the "real world." This is what I've learned: being a pastor or missionary has nothing to do with where your paycheck comes from. You are a pastor. You are a missionary. You are a disciple.

Whether it's playing music in an LA bar or teaching in Southeast Asia, the most important thing that a Christian can do in a post-Christian world is engage culture and get to know different kinds of people.

And we should be funny, too.

If you would like to have me share my story with your church, youth group, or small group, please get in touch by clicking here!
